Reading & Writing

Thank you to all the parents who attended the reading and writing workshop.

I hope that you found the topics useful to support learning at home. Below I have included some the information that was shared during the workshop.

If you would like to learn more about letters and sounds, click on the image below to watch a youtube video. The jolly phonics video sings songs about each letter of the alphabet and teaches children how to pronounce that letter sound. This will help your children beginning to decode and read simple words.

If you would like to support your children developing their hand strength and developing fine motor skills you may want to have a go at 'dough disco'. Check out a 'Dough Disco' youtube clip by clicking here.

Dont have any play dough at home? Then make your own!
