Reception

Welcome to Reception Class!

Our topics this term are... Space and Growing. During our first half term we will focus on Space. We will be reading 'Aliens love Underpants' and non-fiction texts about Space and different planets. We will be fully immersing ourselves in these wonderful stories and texts. The children will have opportunities to write speech bubbles, character descriptions, make predictions, act out and re tell the stories and even design their own characters and write a story about them! The children will also be learning about different planets and will be writing a fact file about a planet of their choice.

Wonderful Writing
