Year 1

Welcome to Spring

Welcome back to Year 1. I hope you all had a wonderful Easter holiday and enjoyed a lovely family break.

Summer Term Learning

This term Year One will investigate two exciting new topics; ‘What is inside the egg?’ where we will investigate the wonderful world of dinosaurs, and ‘What happens at the seaside? where we will be thinking about how summer holidaying and the seaside have changed over time. Both topics will give children lots of opportunities for cross-curricular learning, and lots of opportunities for play based learning. For the latter topic we will be embarking on our, now legendary, trip to the beach to learn all about the seaside.

Please keep your eye on this page for important information, dates for your diary, Home Learning and photographs of learning, enrichment etc. for you to enjoy and share with the children.
