Sports competitions

Here you will find information on the upcoming competitions and all the latest results from our sports teams across the years.

Competitions list

Cross country finals - 11th November

Girls football round 3 - 20th November

Cross Country

Our year 5 and 6 children took part in the annual cross country competition at Chorlton Park earlier this term, completing the 1.5km course. In blustery conditions both the boys' and girls' teams performed brilliantly. The boys qualified for the Manchester finals - well done boys! Lily qualified as an individual for the girls' final - well done Lily!

Girls' Football

The girls' Y5/6 football team have been taking part in their monthly competitions at Loreto High School. They have been improving each month and are playing like a real team now. Keep it up girls.

Tag Rugby

Some of the year 5 and 6 pupils took part in the tag rugby competition earlier this term. After a fantastic set of results, they qualified for the Manchester finals in October. The team traveled to Manchester Health Academy on the 17th October where they competed in the finals, eventually finishing 3rd overall. This is a fantastic achievement so well done to all involved! Massive thanks to Louise Hewitt for organising and running the team this year.
