    This week the Eco Team have made a flying start to the Great Big School Clean 2021 campaign - the largest mass litter pick in the country. They have shown dedication to helping our local wildlife and have already made a very positive impact on our school grounds. What a team!

  • Welcome to our pets as Therapy Dog, Zola

    We are delighted to welcome Zola, our reading dog to school. She visited for the 2nd time today and a selection of pupils read to her, they loved every minute. Thanks Zola!
  • Governor Morning

    Governors joined us today to have an update of our curriculum developments and a learning walk through the classrooms. They thoroughly enjoyed their visit commenting on the homely and happy atmosphere, the great mix of creative ad more formal learning, and on how much effort staff have put into their classroom environments. Thank you to those able to make it.
  • STEM Parent Job Fair

    On Monday a selection of parents volunteered to share their jobs in STEM. All classes had a chance to experience medicine, virtual reality, programming, amongst others; the pupils loved it. Thanks to the talented parent bunch!
  • Clean Air UNICEF Campaign

    The Year 5 & 6 Eco team reps collected the tubes monitoring air pollution on our surrounding roads today. These will now be sent off for testing, to create a pollution map of the UK, seeing where our children are most exposed to air pollutants.
  • British Science Week

    To celebrate British Science week several STEM ambassadors visited our school to share their science and engineering experience with the children. In addition, the Hatching Project based in Year 2, has got off to a wonderful start. Five of the chicks have now hatched and you can see this live below by watching our time lapse video!

  • Jeff Smith MP visit

    Fri 15 Feb 2019

    Today Jeff Smith MP has visited us and had the opportunity for question time with our Eco and Rights Respecting groups as well as a group of Yr 6 pupils, interested to find out what debating in the House is like. The children asked excellent questions, topics including  climate change, plastic reduction, air pollution and Global Goals. Jeff was impressed with the knowledge of our pupils and how articulate they were, again, well done!

  • Sports Club Open Morning

    On Thursday Mr Butler arranged for a number of sports clubs visit to share with parents and children, the great opportunities in our area. We particularly loved playing squash!
