Please find below details of how our Governing body is structured, including the names, categories, responsibilities and terms of appointment for each Governor.

We have also provided a Register of Governor Interests and an Annual Statement of Issues for your information.

Governor induction materials

The induction pack for new governors can be downloaded from our website here.  If you require a paper copy, please contact the Clerk to the Governing Body.  Your induction includes a meeting with the Head Teacher and a follow-up meeting with the Chair of Governors.  Please contact the Head Teacher and Chair of Governors to arrange a convenient meeting time. 

Information and advice services for governors

There is a range of online sources of information and advice:

• Register for the electronic monthly 'Information Update' which Manchester City Council provides to all governors. If you wish to receive this by email, please contact Amy Knowles a.knowles@manchester.gov.uk
• Register to receive the postal mail of the termly national 'Governors' newsletter produced by the Department for Education. Simply email your details to govnews@prolog.uk.com
• Use the Manchester City Council governor support pages as your first port of call and then consult the national web sites for alternative and additional information.
• The Department for Education also produces a Governance Handbook
