Independent SEN advice

  • SENDIASS Manchester SENDIASS Manchester offers independent information, advice and support to parents and carers to increase their involvement in the education of their children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The service also ensures that parents, carers and young people have access to information and advice about issues relating to the child or young person's health and social care.
  • IPSEA IPSEA are an independent provider of Special Educational Needs Advice which offers free and independent legally based information, advice and support.
  • SOS! SEN SOS!SEN has been supporting families for more than 20 years to help them secure the right special educational provision for children and young people with SEND.
  • Manchester Local Offer Manchester Local Offer helps children and young people with SEND up to the age of 25 and their parents/carers in the Manchester City Council area understand what services and support they can expect locally.
  • Manchester Local Offer newsletters The Manchester Local Offer provides weekly newsletters with information to support families and children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
  • Manchester Parent Carer Forum Manchester Parent Carer Forum works to represent the ‘voice’ of parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Douglas Silas solicitors Firm of solicitors who specialise exclusively in advising and representing parents of children and young people with SEND.
