“An Adventure for the Mind, and a Home for the Heart”

“UN Rights of a Child Article 2: A child has rights, whatever their ethnicity, gender, religion, language or abilities. Whatever they think or say, whatever their family background.”

Welcome back, great to see you all!

Year 2

Year 2 enjoyed the very wet conditions. There was much hilarity splashing in the puddles and getting very, very wet and muddy. Children were building dams across the path using logs and leaves, they transported water from a huge, deep puddle to the dam to test it out.

Using leaves to make a dam.
Playing in the mud kitchen.
The children also enjoyed making hedgehog homes as a link to their science topic on habitats.
We had a letter from the hedgehogs
They needed some new homes
So we made some
We used boxes and leaves
Mmmmm
Delicious
Keeping us warm
