Therapeutic Inclusion - Space2Thrive

Space2Thrive

At Chorlton CofE Primary School, we recognise the importance of emotional wellbeing and the ways in which it can impact a child’s educational success.

We have our own therapy room – Space2Thrive – a nurturing environment in which a child can be wholly themselves. We have a trained Therapeutic Practitioner who delivers high-quality Therapeutic interventions to individual and groups of children. Through play, creative mediums and language combined, children are provided with the opportunity to work through difficulties they may be experiencing.

Our working model takes on a holistic approach to working with children and families collaboratively and a range of therapeutic interventions are offered. Interventions include Emotional Literacy programmes, collaborative play/social groups such as Lego Therapy, mindful and anxiety reducing activities, Lego and more specialised Play Therapy
